I'm am artist. I paint abstract watercolor cityscapes.
I'm a fake extrovert. I love meeting new people, talking to strangers on the T, and socializing with my friends, but if I spend too much time doing that without breaks for alone time I will end up hating the entire world. So... alone time is awesome.
I have three younger siblings. One lives in Vermont and runs a daycare center and is really chill and cheerful and friendly, one lives in North Carolina and is a biologist and has two adorable little boys, and my little brother lives in California and works for a solar power company.
I get along really well with my parents. They have a house in Vermont where my Vermont sister lives, but they also have a house in Massachusetts.
I'm kind of small. I have long red hair and red-brown eyes. I'm half Irish, half Ashkenazic Jew (Ukrainian and Hungarian). I was raised Jewish and still consider myself to be Jewish but I'm extremely lazy about it.
I started working in a used bookstore when I was 14. I was in charge of the science fiction/fantasy section. It was the best first job for geeky awkward teenaged me.
