I keep forgetting to mention this:

I just read Sandman Slim by Richard Kadrey. It is amazingly funny, violent and wonderful. It made me hate the world a little bit less, you guys! Also, it's a really satisfying-to-hold smaller-than-usual hardcover. I thought about lending it out but I think I might not be able to let it leave my house. I keep reading certain choice passages out loud to anyone that will listen. Also: I think it might be the first in a trilogy, which makes me happy because I did not want it to end.
