Last year I made my dad a mix of all the Grateful Dead songs having to do with gambling that we could thing of. He wanted something to listen to while he and his buddies played poker, because he is adorable like that. Anyway...yes. I was raised by Dead Heads.

Anyway...it is so cold I wore my new flannel lined cargo pants of awesome. Even though I will be too hot later on when I am running around a lot.

Uh...I had a nice Winter Holiday Combo Event Extravaganza thingy with my family. We exchanged presents, went to see Hugo (which was adorable and shiny), went out for Indian food, and then came home to light the Chanukah candles.

And then the next day I dragged my parents out to have lunch with Ms. Corrupt and her parents because our parents are awesome and they had never met. Fun was had. Then I tagged along after Ms. Corrupt and her parents and we went to Castle Island (which I had never been too even though I'm from here) and it was cold but awesome.

And I just misread this Groupon offer: Up to Half Off One-Night Stay at Royalton Suites. I was all...um what? Oh! One night stay! I got it now!

I think other entertaining stuff has happened but I can't think of it right now.

Oh, yeah this: I was talking about the BBC Sherlock and I couldn't think of Lestrad's name so I said Detective Inspector Lestat, which...would be interesting, yes? I mean there are already so many fics where everyone is a vampire so...whatever, but I am entertained. Like, I say it to myself and start giggling.

Hope everyone else is as easily entertained as I am! *hugs*

I remembered another thing!

On Christmas Eve my parents and my little brother and I scrolled through my brother's Netflix account trying to find something good on demand. We ended up watching Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead which was awesome, of course. And a rather hilarious movie to for Christmas Eve.
