So...I'm going to Worldcon. Actually, I'm going to be working at worldcon, doing some people wrangling and such. And it should be fun, but I am trying to plan for the inevitable onset "Oh my god I hate everyone in the entire fucking world" which I know will happen because...I'm a fake extrovert, not a real extrovert. So...I'm going to bring some art supplies (and snacks. lots and lots of snacks.) and whenever I want to kill someone I'll just doodle (while eating a snack) instead. Like, I was sort of planning to bring my water colors, but then I realized I had about six randomly acquired Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer Watercolor Pencils that I just found while looking for something else entirely and they are the best thing ever so I think I might go get, like, an entire set at Pearl tomorrow because they do have those "20% off any one item" coupons and...art supply porn. Like, I looked them up on the Pearl website and I almost started drooling. I mean, I'm not going to get the set of 120 because that would be...not very portable. And also it's $154. But maybe the set of 36. Because 36 is a lucky number. We shall see.
