There was a Giant Moth with big blue eyes. Um. Eye-like spots on it's wings that were sort of blue. I have many many really awesome moth pictures. But I don't have the cord to upload them to the computer. That cord would be somewhere in my room in Somerville.
Moth! Bob-the-awesome-tenant did not have his camera but I had my dinky camera and he ended up with the moth perched on his hand so it's just as well I was taking the pictures and not him. Turns out if you take many many pictures some of them turn out wicked awesome.
Also, in unrelated news, here is a True Statement:
farwing's father: "It's better to be inspired than expired!"
Vermont: still awesome. There was also an owl making owl noises. And I may have had wine and a tiny bit of cheese and crackers for dinner. My parents: kind of a bad influence on me.
Also: we try to time our drive up so that we can make it the the amazing co-op in Lebanon, NH. So...seriously we got there at 8:50 and it closes at 9 and we did that "Okay, you go get the tofu, I'll get the avocados etc." division of labor thing and wheee now we have food. They have clean bathrooms too, so it's kind of an important stop.
Oh my god I might not be able to get to sleep you guys.
