I'm sitting at my desk because my shoulders are killing me and I have a bean bag thingy that I keep in the freezer and so I'm icing my shoulders and...I want to go to sleep now.
Whatever. It's Friday friday friday.
I saw a heron on my lunch break. That was wicked cool. I was just sitting on a bench at the back of my building, looking across the canal and this bird swooped in and I was all "Hey...you're not a sea gull! You're a heron!" and it landed on the black metal railing of the new wooden walkway across the canal from my building. It was one of the small white-with-dark-grey-wings-and-a-dark-gey-head herons and it was so weird to see if sitting on the railing in front of the buttermilk yellow and brick red industrial ugliness that sits between my building and the Genzyme building.
Heron! Yay.
Ugh. I'm gonna go put away office supplies now. Wish me luck!
