So...my phone is finally fixed enough. And I only had to go to the Sprint store twice! Fuckers.

In other news, my mom came over to help me clean my room. Which sounds kind of pathetic, I know. But she is awesome and helpfully bossy. :)

Then I met up with [livejournal.com profile] imaginarycircus at her coffee shop, which was excellent. We talked a lot. About things. Fandom, music, family etc. Yay, meeting people from the internet who it turns out you have already met in a different context. Small world! :)

Then I had yummy, yummy Japanese food. I could eat the Healthy Bowl at Tampopo every day. I'm not kidding. I mean, I could also make something very similar myself but that's no fun.

Then I went back to the Sprint store in Copley Sq and wept piteously at them. (Well, okay, there was no weeping. I was very annoyed at them. If this were a story taking place on an alien planet I would now go to the Holy Shrine of the God of Customer Service Representatives and make a small, tasteful offering as penance for being a cranky bitch.) Turns out the guy who put the new battery in last night had failed to remove the invisible piece of tape that needed to be removed in order for it to work. Another guy removed said piece of tape and now my phone works. Yay?

After this I went to Filene's Basement and acquired three retail therapy pink and purple girly frilly bras with lace on. Because sometimes that's what's called for.

Of course, on the train ride home I realized that the guy who had failed to fix my phone last night was sitting a little ways down from me. Awkward! I pretended I didn't see him.

But then I ran into [livejournal.com profile] fennel on the walk home from the T, which was not awkward. We both had places to go and people to see but it was good to chat for a few minutes.

I am now home doing laundry, eating pretzels, etc. like one does on a Saturday night.
